OUR LOUD AND UNRESTFUL VACATION

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: THE UNIT ITSELF WAS PERFECT. IT WAS SPOTLESS, WELL EQUIPPED KITCHEN AND ORGANIZED. HOWEVER. ONE UNIT HAD 9 HIGH SCHOOL/COLLEGE GIRLS WHO LIKED TO DRINK AND PARTY.ANOTHER UNIT HAD CONSTRUCTION MEN OF VARYING AGES WHO ALSO LIKED TO PARTY AND DRINK AND EACH HAVING THEIR OWN PICK-UP WHICH MADE IT DIFFICULT TO FIND A PARKING SPOT. WE LOST COUNT ON THE EXACT NUMBER OF THE MEN! ABOVE OUR UNIT WERE 2 YOUNG CHILDREN WHO RAN AT ALL HOURS IN THE EVENING. LAST BUT NOT LEAST= A FIRE NEAR THE LATTICE BELOW THE COMPLEX AND THE FIREMEN WERE SUMMONED. CAUSE UNKNOWN.WE LOVE THE UNIT AND HAVE RENTED THERE FOR MANY YEARS BUT MAY HAVE TO SEARCH ANOTHER AREA.

Compass Rose A Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have come to Compass Rose for many years, and spent a week recently in Unit 32. It was renovated just a couple of years ago and is in terrific shape. Our stay was enhanced by Indian Summer weather. The hurricane only hit this part of Garden City a glancing blow, and the beach is still quite wide--the surf fisherman were out in numbers! There was lots of sand and debris piled up on the roadside but the count and contractors worked hard to clear the way. Compass Rose received minimal impact. We think it's the perfect Grand Strand location--quiet with little traffic, nice beach, marina and Gulfstream Restaurant across the street, and just a few minutes from great dining on the causeway, US 17 and Murrells's Inlet!

Reviewer Comments: we visit garden city beach every year in the fall. i just shop around for a house or condo to fit out needs. this one was perfect for what we needed. clean, close and pretty vacant! just the way we like it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I, her parents, and my mother stayed here for a week. We couldn't have been happier with the condo. Compass Rose 32 is very clean, recently updated, and very nicely decorated. An unobstructed ocean view is always nice but the screened in large patio in the condo makes it even more enjoyable. The stairs from the patio down to the pool are a nice touch too. The condo is located way south on the Grand Strand so it was nice and quiet. This place is great. We'll be back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Each year our large group from Kentucky visits Garden City and stay at Compass Rose. We have gotten to know other families that do the same so each year is like a reunion. We had a great time, CR # 32 has been updated and was very nice! Look forward to renting again and seeing more of the updates.

Rocking chair needs replaced

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was a big hole in the rocking chair on the porch that made it unusable. The chair was in very bad condition last year and should have been replaced for this rental season.

Very worn/dated condo-needs new cleaning company!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While Garden City Realty did respond to our problems (doorknob about to fall off outside door; keys didn't work well), overall this property needs a lot of upgrades. Also upon our arrival there were soda cans (empty and full) under the beds, in drawers. Also, AC was very unevenly distributed throughout the place - some of us roasted, others froze.
