“Room seemed ok, apart from the fact of being at 4th floor without lift... till I opened the window. Window was opening 4 cms only. Inner curtain , in the room, was full of dead moths and bugs, DISGUSTING. Basil was CRACKED and all ceiling corners full of soiders nets. DISGUSTING. Bed very old.”

“The property wasn’t ready when we arrived for 3pm, eventually ready at 5pm. When we arrived the fridge was not turned on so we could not refrigerate anything for several hours, the doors were left closed so when opened the fridge smelled awful & very unhygienic. Cutlery & utensils were rusty & in very poor condition. “This was out first stay at Casa Mere and we were so impressed. The room was very clean, tidy with a very comfortable bed. The pub it is attached to is lovely, so atmospheric and served a great breakfast with a wide choice of food. Staff throughout were very kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel is excellently situated and was fantastic value for money. We would definitely recommend it.”
