“This hotel was lovely. Rooms were spacious with a four poster bed. Beautiful en suite. Food was mind blowing. Presentation and taste. Drinks at the bar very well stocked and staff were so helpful. They really couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. ”

“The staff were so helpful, couldn't do enough for us. The food was out of this world, so tasty and beautifully presented. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean with a huge walk in shower. There was a kettle and a wide variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits too. We both slept well. The curtains were blackout so weren't disturbed by the light either.”

“Amazing stay everyone so friendly we always keep going back . Full use of facilities ! Pool and spa areas were so clean. Room was perfect. Although need bigger coffee cups 😄 and couldn't find drinking water or bottle water to buy. Was a lot of confusion due to booking club room with Expedia check in they say have free breakfast and then get to breakfast in morning ...... £25 for two because you didn't book directly through village was a bit annoying because we'd already eaten it. Won't stop...

Bedroom very spacious and so quiet, this to me is very important as started work early the following day. “Easy to follow directions regarding checkin-check out. My room (2b) was large, with a big bed, and couch at the foot of the bed facing a TV and the floor to ceiling window. There was also a small dining table with two chairs. The bathroom was spacious with separate shower and bath. Everything worked and was clean. I think good value. The location was perfect, with walkable restaurants and bars close by. ”

“Wasnt clear how to check in, but rung in the morning and was advised to call to pub for room card. The room was very clean, and well presented. Can see they are looked after. Nice walk in shower with 2 separate heads. Plenty of storage for clothes etc. Bed was very comfortable and made for a great night sleep. The food served at the Pen Y Cae was amazing and all the staff we encountered throughout our stay were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them. ”
