“The cottage has everything a family needs but the communications around check-in was very poor and hotels.com's customer service was unwilling to provide any assistance. I would have thought some level of quality control helped justify hotels.com's commission. Either way, the cottage is managed by the building next door and this is where you need to go to collect the key. ”

“Nice resort overall but the customer service could be improved. The spa facilities and sauna could do with better cleaning. In my partners Sauna and spa had a bad smell which affected that tranquil environment where she wasn’t able to relax. We enjoy the Japanese breakfast the quality was really good with a good variety of hot and cold options. The staff was also quite rude in the ski park and was not helpful or informative. “Family of 5, booked 2 rooms with ensuites. Everything was great from the amenities to the food and helpful staff. The Ryokan is around a 300-500m walk from the ski lifts however they offer a shuttle service every morning. You can also reserve the shuttle at other times to head out to restaurants etc.”
