The pics on vrbo were not even close to the room we got. The room smelled like someone to a hose to all the carpets 20 years ago and never dried out. Horrible. Nothing to wash dishes with, no hand soap. Furniture was so outdated and stunk

Check and out was fast. The room was clean. Would definitely stay again. Just wigh the pool and hot tub was open on the 7th floor.

Beautiful view but filthy unit

This unit was a mess upon arrival- we ended up complaining and no one could help us since we booked through VRBO. The entire unit smelled of mold and the floors were filthy. We did stay and cleaned the place ourself with product we bought at the grocery store. Once we left we complained multiple times through VRBO and they just pushed us off. Very sad that we paid so much for this unit. The view is of the ocean is nice and they have all the kitchen equipment but that’s all. The couches and chairs are dirty and moldy. The fire alarms went off at 0300 on of the nights and they were banging on doors of our floor, because there are no working smoke detectors. Not safe at all. The pools are always packed and the parking garage is packed and stinks like garbage. The beach however is beautiful and very convenient.

Love the Caravelle

I have stayed there for 16 years and have always enjoyed my stay. I was a little disappointed in the property itself. Seems like the upkeep is lacking, no hot tub jets working in 3 hot tubs, they didn't have pool towels as in years past, there were very few chairs on the large patio, and 2 of those were broken. As for the room itself it was nice and clean. There was a problem with the lights flickering in the bathroom, and the shower curtain rod is tilted and you can't close the shower curtain. The kitchen was well stocked but a pizza pan/cookie sheet would be a nice addition as well as an ice bucket. We had 2 tv's but one remote was missing the battery so we had to pass one remote from room to room and the backs were missing on both. Only 2 of the 5 lights over the table were working. We also didn't see any maid service to refresh the room or replace towells for the 3 days we were there. Luggage carts were very hard to find!

Spring break 2019

PLEASE READ TO THE END!! The resort itself was nice. The kiddie area wasn’t open. We were disappointed with this because that’s one reason the kiddos picked the resort. The tiki bar wasn’t either big bummer!! The room was clean and pretty big however there was ZERO storage for food besides refrigerator. There was so much unnecessary furniture and decor that it made it feel smaller and cluttered. In the bedroom was a dinning chair and a glass end table that if wasn’t there it would be so much bigger. Or replace glass table for something cute for dry food storage. The dinning room/living room had a HUGE dinning table and 2 extra chairs(one dining and one wicker) that took up too much space and not needed, because of the extra chairs you couldn’t even fit 4 at the table. So again a family of six there was no room for things. Overall we had a great experience. If we ever go back we would choose a room with less cluttered furniture. It did have an AWESOME view, was fully stocked with everything we needed in kitchen, no hidden costs or surprise, very very clean, new appliances and furniture was nice. Decor was cute and looked new. Maid service was amazing!! I give the maid service a 5/5! Overall a great stay for the money!!
