“Overall, very nice only slight downside is that you cannot get to the parking on L3 directly from the hotel despite there being a button, but it is reserved for staff only? But the room was a generous size and well laid out and very nice inside. So overall a pretty decent hotel.”

“Would stay again just for the complimentary mini bar, what a game-changer! Staff were incredible - shout out to Daryl in reception. He left a jar of lollies for my son upon learning it was his b-day. But every other staff we I have interacted with was incredible, warm but professional, communicated well. Definitely a step-up from other hotels The room itself was good, dark and moody, maybe needed a few cushions on the couch. Not much of a view, though it could be cos I requested a quiet...

“Best hotel we've stayed in in Australia. Lovely 1920s building, helpful staff, attractive bar, good location for many sites and on a number of bus routes (Canberra is not a very pedestrian-friendly city). Only quibble would be that, as one of the, possibly the, leading hotel(s) in the Commonwealth capital, a wider selection of Australian wines, and notably some from the smaller wine regions (for example, Beechworth, VIC) could be available.”

“This was a comfortable and affordable room. we were at a show for the weekend so only need a place to sleep. All in all , quite plesant.”

“Nice size family room, however needs more attention to detail in the room. Ie our room was missing pans to cook, the hair dryer was broken, missing a few glasses. Also our room wasn't cleaned despite putting the sign up asking for a clean. However the location was really good, right next to restaurants, fast food, shopping, public transport, rooms were clean. The help yourself cupboard for supplies ie teas, milk, towels etc is a great idea!”
