The first room had a faulty air conditioning unit that was leaking water like a tap. This ruined my expensive slipper. I reported the issue to the morning receptionist on the 12th of March. “This is a top hotel in every regard. It is so refreshing to have the space and luxury compared to a lot of 5 star places which can be bright and shiny but smaller rooms and not as "opulent" as the Hyatt Canberra feels. This was a treat and I travel every week so if in Canberra.....DO IT!”

“The motel is on the older side and looks like it hasn’t had a refresh in a long time. That is all ok as it’s reflected in the rate. The room was very large (it could easily have held another queen bed. It was also a comfortable walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the light rail. The only issues I had were the limited wifi (you get a daily limit which got used up in about 3 hours). A lot of Freeview channels were not available on the tv either. Otherwise, no problem. ”

“The shower was the worst - The water temperature had no consistency, it was just going between hot and cold non-stop. One of the bed covers had what looked like a cigarette burn in it And I would suggest bringing your own pillows. Other than that, the place was fine, room was very dark which we appreciated, it was clean enough too.”
