“I have nothing but good things to say. Cleanliness, condition, service, location (essentially right in town, less than three blocks to the lake), parking and overall comfort. I stayed with my 14 year old son for five nights in one of the units with a loft. We loved it! Also, the kitchen was well stocked, there’s a dishwasher, and there’s in-room washer and dryer. ”

“My fiancé and I only stayed one night but I honestly wish we stayed longer. Such a cool dome experience! Very modern, incredibly well designed, and furnished. Was super warm due to the built in heating and stunning fireplace. Loved it! Highly recommend! ”

“Bridget, the motel manager, was lovely—she called ahead to check our arrival time and made sure everything was perfect with the room. The place has been nicely renovated. We drove, so we’re not sure about nearby facilities, but Wanaka is absolutely beautiful.

“What a gem! We loved the heated pool & hot tub & slide. We used them each night in winter! We could walk to the Wanaka tree & the lakes edge. Town was a little bit farther, so we took the car, but it is walkable if it was a little warmer. Our family appreciates 2 bedrooms and the kitchen was well equipped. We spent a day skiing at Cardrona and the drive was easy. I highly recommend this property! ”

“Loved staying here; it was amazing value. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious and in great condition. The free laundry facilities were great and the pool and hot pool finished our days perfectly. Couldn't recommend enough! ”

“Edgewater è l’hotel più bello in cui siamo state in South Island. E’ proprio sul lago con un bellissimo giardino, tutto molto curato, al ristorante abbiamo mangiato e bevuto benissimo. Il personale gentile e accudente. Da non mancare!”

Private rooms are expensive in Wanaka. By far the first most expensive private room in NZ.
All good with essentials however which the bathroom are equipped with heater.
2 minutes walk to Four Square grocery and lots of eateries.
Only negative issue is bathroom is very cold in private room ensuite as there is no heater as compared to Haka Tekapo which has heater in both room and bathroom.
The detergents are diluted with 10% detergent and 90% water, guess...

“We stayed in a cabin for a couple of nights. It was ideal for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 children). The kitchen was great. Good cooking facilities and a comfy dining area. The showers were good. Such a handy location to town and the lake front. Would definitely go back to stay another time. ”
