“We arrived late at night due to unforeseen circumstances and had a difficult time getting into our room. No one was in the office and it was closed, so we had to knock on the door until someone came. They seemed very annoyed, but told us that our key was already in our room and the room was unlocked. We didn’t love that the room was accessible to anyone before we got there. The place itself was good. There was milk in the fridge and a couple of cookies. No frills place but it got the job done...

“The Hotel is good value close to the Airport and about 15 minutes from Centre of Queenstown. The room is basic but has everything needed for a short stay. Our room did have the sound of running water through the night so not sure if it was the air conditioning or noise from another room.”

“Edgewater è l’hotel più bello in cui siamo state in South Island. E’ proprio sul lago con un bellissimo giardino, tutto molto curato, al ristorante abbiamo mangiato e bevuto benissimo. Il personale gentile e accudente. Da non mancare!”

“The room was perfect, refrigerator, nice shower and super clean. The staff was excellent at breakfast with our special needs and allergies (Kevin!). We enjoyed the soak with our own private enclosure outside to enjoy stargazing and the wine that was served to us! All was perfect!”

“Wasn’t my best experience this time. No furniture that made it easy to continue work or even have a meal there which I found odd. Booked a mountain view room which I did not receive. I would reconsider if I would go back again. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and tidy.”

“Relaxing short stay in a beautiful area of New Zealand - the room was clean and spacious, staff were relatively friendly and helpful. It was a short walk from the rooms to the main reception area and restaurant for breakfast, which was delicious. Would've been nice to have some sheer curtains or blinds to be able to let some natural light in without people being able to look in from the outside, but overall we had an enjoyable stay and hope to return again.”

“The staff are super helpful. I had an electric blanket that didn't work and they replaced immediately. The dining and lounge area are great with free coffee etc. Definitely would come back.”
