    The Space:

    Tucked in the woods near Petenwell Lake, this home offers a secluded retreat that's close to outdoor recreation. Just a short drive from a boat launch and ATV trails, you can easily explore the scenic area by water or land. Nearby parks provide more opportunities to swim and enjoy lakeside picnics. The home's covered porch invites you to unwind into vacation mode. Cozy up with a good book or sip afternoon beverages while you take in tranquil wooded views. Fire up the gas grill for a cookout, then dine alfresco at the patio table that seats six. Inside the home, you'll find ample space to relax between the living area that features a smart TV and a wood-paneled sitting area that is adjacent to the patio. Nibble on appetizers at the kitchen bar that seats four and share meals at the six-person dining table. THINGS TO KNOW Streaming is available using your own accounts. Partial air-conditioning is provided via a window unit. The full kitchen does not have a dishwasher. This property is managed by VueStay Vacations.

Very relaxing and comfortable

A fun place to hangout inside or outside. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the seasonal porch for some calm and quiet time. We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin and the quiet time we had.

Secluded and quiet

We loved our stay and will be back. So quiet and secluded. So many places to sit inside and out and listen to the birds.

Perfect 4th of July getaway

The house was so beautiful and cozy and had all the amenities we needed. The property is very spacious and the beaches were within 5 minutes. The location is ideal, we had lots of peace and quiet, very little traffic on our road, and the stars were a sight to see at night.

Great nature getaway

We had a great weekend seeing deer on the property everyday, the cabin had everything we needed. Our only issue was the beds were too firm for us, I had to sleep on the couch all weekend but it didn’t take away from us enjoying our weekend away and I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

Nice cabin

Very spacious and clean cabin. Nice remote location near lots of hiking! I liked that it was dog friendly and there was a 3 season porch and two regular porches. Very cozy and well equipped! A/C unit worked well and we appreciated having it.

Quiet Getaway

The house has many sitting areas, inside and outside, which was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The boat launch was minutes away. Very quiet and very clean!

Great place! Will rent again!

Loved this place! It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked for any cooking needs. Location was perfect for us to attend a family reunion nearby. We will definitely rent again. Only complaint was that the AC was not turned on when we arrived - it was hot day and a window unit in the living room so the bedrooms were super hot and took all night to cool off.

Despite poor curb appeal, overall cabin was fairly comfortable. Nice parks within 30 min drive. Highlight was spotting a smallish black bear enjoying the ripe raspberries surrounding the lawn. Screened porch very pleasant in early mornings and after sunset (Temps in high 80s and high humidity)

Cabin Hideaway

This was located off the busy roadway. Nestled in the woods. Very clean. Lots of deer activity and wildlife. I would highly recommend to get away from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. We are already talking about booking another date.

Hidden Gem

Property had more than enough room inside and outside. It was nice to find a property that accepted two dogs and there was plenty of room to setup two dog kennels in the house. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and small appliances. Local beach just minutes away and short drive to Buckhorn State Park or Wis Rapids Aquadic Center.

Perfect Weekend Cabin!

My husband and I were looking for a place to getaway with our dog and this cabin was perfect and pet friendly! The beaches/bars/restaurants were all about a 20 minute drive but the views are beautiful as you commute to the different locations. The house was clean, updated nicely and the bed was so comfy! There was plenty of space outside for our dog to run and enjoy himself as well. Thank you for letting us stay here and to anyone going up, we highly recommend Nekoosa Cafe for breakfast the Woodbine Supper Club for dinner AND the Old Mill for drinks, they are dog friendly!

Nice place, could have been cleaner

Overall good experience, but there was some dog food in one corner and dog hair on blankets and pillows. Also lots of dead and alive lady bugs inside.
