“There are definitely some house issues that l see from other reviews that were still present during our stay. Not sure if they were communicated to Jennifer directly or just left in the review, but l addressed them in an email to her and she was very responsive so l hope they will be corrected for future renters. But these were just minor irritations compared to how wonderful this house was for our group. The location was great. Granted you would not walk to the slopes with all of your gear, etc...

“This year’s gathering of our ever growing tribe of children, grands and canine landed us as close to the Heavens as possible. This property was perfectly set up for sleeping arrangements, meal sharing, dog convenience and activities for all ages… the climbing wall was especially popular with our young gymnast and the free-standing video arcade was nostalgically fun for all ages. Of course, being March, the hot tub and sauna got used quite a bit too. The ultimate lure of this property...

“We gathered here for a winter weekend with family. This is a spacious unit with plenty of room for gathering as well as personal space for all guests. Excellent communication with the owner who was welcoming and supportive throughout the stay. This was the perfect location for access to slopes for skiing and tubing or just relaxing and enjoying the gorgeous back porch mountain views.”

“There was an issue upon arrival, however the owners stepped right up to fix it. The house is very comfortable for 4 adults and 2 children. My only difficulty was the outside stairs. For an older couple the coolers were very heavy when we made it to the top :-) All in all, we had an enjoyable stay. Be alert as we had our truck broken into by a bear. No damage done, but a lesson learned.”

“House was perfect for 6 adults/6 young kids. Clean and stocked with kitchen basics. Easy drive to some trails and Wintergreen resort, but further (20-30 mins) to get down to other restaurants, breweries, etc. Great view from the big back porch!”

“The overall cabin was super cute and very clean. We did have a problem with bees in the house. My husband was assuming they were probably coming in through the barn door. The only thing I was just a little disappointed about was that we were actually in a neighborhood. I thought it was going to be a little bit more secluded. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I would recommend this VRBO to someone.”
