“A wonderful location right on the Dee Estuary. Although there’s no flowing water we sat on the terrace and enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening sun and watched the world and wildlife go by. Our evening meal was great as was breakfast. A lovely big room, very clean and comfortable. All in all a great stay. ”

“The Boathouse is on the river and next to the Grosvenor Park with is very pretty and a nice area to walk through to get to the city centre. We watched a rowing club practise right from our table at dinner. The wait staff in the dining room were very friendly and accommodating. It was a convenient place to have dinner and the food was good. We didn’t opt for breakfast. “We actually found this hotel and swapped it for our original one after seeing it was over £100 for 4 nights, bargain! Staff were lovely, polite and really accommodating. I saw a few bad reviews complaining about the noise, but it is on a main road so it is to be expected and in all honesty, the noise isn't as bad as you'd think. The rooms were clean and cosy, can't fault a bit of Netflix on a smart TV.. Lovely stuff.The bathrooms were spotless, and I'm fussy about them. Another great quality...
