“Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us.
If we're back in the area well certainly consider Crawfield Grange as the #1 place to stay. ”

“Great value. Looks like its been recently renovated as it is in excellent condition. Parking in the hotel car park is quite expensive (£10/night) considering its nowhere near the city centre, however we parked in the park and ride next door for free which had plenty space.”

Only thing was the hot water. Took 2-3 minutes to get hot although there was a sign to say this.

“Really impressed with this hotel. Very quiet room with a comfy king size bed. The windows open (not the case in many hotels) on to a garden area at the back. Free parking for residents with a bus stop 2 mins walk away. Quick & easy to get into Aberdeen. Lovely breakfast. Very happy!”

"L'hotel è situato in posizione centralissima, a pochi passi da Union Street, cosa che per me costituiva un pregio. Dispone di un pochissimi parcheggi, peraltro molto angusti e scomodi per automobili grandi, sicuramente non sufficienti per gli ospiti della struttura. Però, in fondo a Chapel Street c'é un grande parcheggio multipiano ideale per lasciare la vostra autovettura, a costi ragionevoli. Zona tranquilla. Su Union Street si può pranzare/cenare in una vasta gamma di luoghi. Le camere sono essenziali (al limite dello sguarnito). Bagno con doccia privo di bidet, ma questo sarebbe vero anchè scegliendo hotels ben più costosi. Saponi e shampo in dispenser (ma non della stessa qualità di altri Holiday Inn Express in Scozia, quali Edimburgo, Perth e Inverness). Letto matrimoniale veramente piccolo. Colazione sufficientemente assortita e con prodotti di buona qualità. Se usate l'hotel per la cena, però, il menu è molto povero di scelta. Personale abbastanza disponibile e sempre presente. Non spendete una fortuna in acqua in bottiglia perchè quella del rubinetto è più che adeguata. Sostanzialmente discreto rapporto costo/qualità. Tra gli Holiday Inn Express visitati in Scozia (gli altri erano ad Edimburgo, Perth e Inverness) è il meno buono."
