“In such high altitude, with the vanishing winter and melting snow, there are really a lot to explore in oberhof. The stay at the hotel was excellent and authentic. The breakfast has many variations everyday, the fruits and vegetables were really very fresh. The staffs were well behaved and have showed good hospitality. The wellness and spa amenities were top notch.”

“I didn’t realize this was more of a B&B than a hotel. I’ve never stayed in a B&B before, so my expectations were a little off. It is an older home with a small, skinny staircase to get to the rooms, and the family who owns it lives there. That said, the room was like a little apartment. “The hotel stay was pleasant. Very clean, convenient free parking right at the hotel, breakfast was plenty. Optional dinner on most days. You can start your hikes right at the hotel. I liked the guest kitchen with microwave, coffeemaker and filled refrigerator. The hotel takes the risk counting on honest guests. I really felt good about it.
