I really appreciated that they would not allow us to tip because it made the experience feel more comfortable. Tipping culture in Egypt can be crazy. “Not safe for travelers. The manager is not a professional. At 5pm on Feb 22 Sunday, he banged on my door, in a hoodie, without identifying himself. He demanded $25 for airport tranfer. Then I realized this was the manager, one Bahaa. I asked him if that was him, and offered my hand. He merely said $25 dollars. The room itself is clean but very shabby. The linens are ragged. “Il personale è super gentile e questo aiuta un po' a sentirsi accolti. purtroppo la struttura in sè ha tanti piccoli problemi tra cui la vasca con il doccino rotto, un solo asciugamano per persona, i condizionatori che non fanno aria calda o che non funzionano e così via. Purtroppo va bene per una notte sola. Punto a favore il personale”

“The room was nice and bathroom was nice and clean, my problems were that the WiFi didn't work throughout my stay and due to my phone data not working, was unable to use my phone for anything my entire stay. I was also charged for the drinks in the rooms fridge which originally I was told I was allowed to have. I was also charged for grease/sweat stains on my pillow which is inevitable in a hot country. Won’t be staying again considering I wasn’t even compensated for the lack of WiFi. ”
