“Room was spotless. Staff was very friendly and inviting from the start until the end of our stay. Breakfast was great . Definitely staying here from now on when in Detroit and close by. Highly recommend. ”

“Nice view of the St. Claire River even if it was on the parking lot side to view the many freighters in passing.. Rooms clean and quiet. Added bonus was lunch at the River Crab fine restaurant in the same lot. Nice two day getaway on a belated spring week without driving too far from my home base.”

“Beautiful hotel and ambiance! Favorite reading spot by the lobby fireplace. Dining was delicious at The Dive restaurant. Loved the quaint room and abundant closet and drawer space. Spacious shower and spectacular rainfall shower head. Only complaint was the mattress we had gave me a backache since I’m used to a firm one, but it’s probably okay for those who prefer soft mattresses. There was also a thin layer of dust on the drawer chest but easily wiped down. Would definitely return especially in...

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Not many motels near Oakland University, but I’m not sure we would stay at this one again. It allows pets and is generally run-down.”

“Free parking, room was not clean I requested a change but the next room wasn’t clean either. Hair in the sheets and in the pillow. Building looks a bit old. Water in the shower would not shut off. I hate to complain but I was really looking forward to the stay and it did not meet the expectations of what I saw in the pictures. ”
