Guest house in New Mexico

“Great area easy access to town. clean view of the mountain top. Beautiful eco home! Well thought out and the breeze way feels great in the morning and evening. Bed needs some help, dips created in the bed and im only 150lbs so I sank pretty unevenly. Chairs by hot tub are somewhat comfortable, softer more inviting chairs would help to endure longer views. The views are nice but they are obstructed by the sun in the am, so coffee outside not so much! There is a small garden to have coffee but...

“What a wonderful, comfortable, unexpected place! Great staff, and the check-in process could not be easier. Our room was enormous, quiet, and full of fascinating objects on display explaining the history of the property. The inner courtyard spaces are lovely, and the trolley car bar is a must visit. A gem of the area, a little bit off the beaten path, but close to everything you'd want to visit.”

“This is a well maintained, cozy place to stay that's slightly off the beaten path yet close to everything in Los Alamos. Matt, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. The rooms have everything you need, They're comfortable, and even a balcony view! I took advantage of the free guest laundry, which was helpful after I accidentally spilled something on my clothes. I would gladly stay again.”

“First of all, getting to the property is challenging. There is about 1/2 mile of rough, unmaintained road. The casita is dark and had a dark feeling.. I went to make breakfast, drawers and cupboards difficult to open, cooking utensils were sparse. I booked the casitas for 4 days, I left after just one night, had breakfast in Santa Fe.. and moved on.”

“La Casita de la Cruz is a wonderful, retreat-like spot about 10 minutes from downtown Santa Fe. Simple but well-appointed, it is a charming site with New Mexico flavor. Easy to visit Santa Fe and regional attractions, as long as you don’t mind that you aren’t a walkable distance to town. We personally loved the distance and quiet from town.”
