“We never saw the host, which was bizarre. We had a divine breakfast made by our host, but it was expensive. Overall, room was clean, wait person for breakfast was friendly and efficient. The problem was no special touches, meaning no sight of the B&B owners.”

“I rate this 1 star not on the accommodation itself but by the fact that the place charges a standard 70 dollar “cleaning fee” which when added to the vrbo charge means that the room charge Is roughly half of your total bill. This is clearly intended as a marketing ploy versus having any real relationship to actual costs.”
