“Overall, we really enjoyed the stay and would stay there again. Two minor concerns: There are several dogs in the area, and their barking can be an annoyance until the quiet down later in the evening. Use of the kitchen is limited by the fact you can only operate one electrical appliance at time. The cook top is a hot plate and there are a toaster oven and a microwave, so you have plan out the sequence you cook your food if you want to pan fry, bake and warm up something for a meal.”

“This is a beautiful home in an impossibly beautiful setting. The backyard is filled with wildlife all day long; it looks like a Disney movie. The house is furnished with Southwest art, and the cleanliness and attention to detail is incredible. From the luxurious linen to the fully stocked kitchen and comfortable chairs and beds, it has everything you need for total relaxation and comfort. “We loved our stay at Grindstone Cowboy ! Amazing views, ample space for everything. Ready with all things we needed. Close to Ruidoso town and Inn of the mountain Gods where we did zip line over the lake.Great entertainment for family with the pool table, jacuzzi and a big table for board games. The common area worked perfectly for our large group activities . Much to do in the area . Kept us busy all week . Ski lift and disc golf fun and affordable . ”

“The house and location were beautiful. The maintenance people were very responsive. We had problems with heating when we arrived. The heater was not on due to an error code, and after maintenance arrived it took a very long time to get warm. The internet was also out for several days and maintenance was not able to fix. ”
