I would highly recommend this location to anyone travelli ng to Sao Miguel. Easy place to get to from the airport and puts you right in the center of the island. “I was traveling with my son and a friend, and this home was a perfect location for us to fairly quickly get to all of the island. The home was quite clean, the rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen met our needs. The only reason that I gave the location 4 stars and not 5 was that it was rather close to the highway. My son thought it provided the perfect amount of white noise.”

“The house was well situated and has lots of potential. Our host Claudio was polite, quick to respond, and very helpful. The rooms are a good size, and the house has a good layout. Unfortunately, the beds and pillows were very hard and quite uncomfortable. The outdoor furniture is in need of replacing, the BBQ is rusty and new interior paint would be a good improvement as there is water damage in places and signs of mold in the bathroom and elsewhere. The pictures in the listing are outdated as...
