1BR/1BA Oceanfront Condo - Amazing Views of the Boardwalk, Beach, and Ocean!

Enjoy a relaxing, fun, and memorable summer vacation at Ocean Beach Club, an oceanfront resort with the best overall collection of amenities in Virginia Beach. In July and August the beach weather and ocean temps are almost perfect.

Ocean Beach Club is a Caribbean-inspired resort offering upscale accommodations and an array of amenities, located just steps from the sand in Virginia Beach. Unwind at one of the 2 oceanfront pools, an adults-only infinity pool with bar service and an indoor pool with water features.

THE SPACE

Other resort amenities include a 10th floor lounge and sundeck overlooking the ocean, a 17th floor ocean view fitness center, a game room and daily planned activities. Enjoy a specialty cocktail at Ultra Craft Cocktails Lounge, or dine poolside for breakfast, lunch or dinner at Tortugas Café & Tiki Bar, open seasonally.

This is a fully furnished 1BR/1BA Oceanfront condo unit with a Full Kitchen (Stove, Oven, Dishwasher, Microwave, Coffee Maker, etc), a Dining Table with seating for 4 people, a Queen Sleeper sofa, a Bedroom with Queen Bed, a Bathroom, and an Oceanfront Balcony.

The Oceanfront balcony is located off the Master bedroom and directly overlooks the Boardwalk, Beach, and Atlantic ocean. Enjoy the spectacular views while drinking your coffee in the morning or enjoying a beverage of choice in the evening.

At the end of each day, gather the family together to enjoy your favorite movie or whip up a quick snack in your fully-equipped Kitchen, which includes Stove, Oven, and full sized Refrigerator, along with a dining table to easily fit 4 persons. This 1BR/1BA suite accommodates up to four (4) people and features a 32” cable TV in the bedroom, and a 42” plasma TV and DVD player in the living room.

The location of Ocean Beach Club is on the north end of the boardwalk, and near many of the better restaurants and outdoor lounging areas. You can walk or ride your bike on the 3 mile boardwalk. The Ocean Breeze Water Park is only 10 minutes away.

Or this offers a convenient location from which to schedule day trips to tour nearby Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, or Busch Gardens / Water Country.

GUEST ACCESS & CHECK IN

Your unit is private, but since this is a resort hotel property, amenities will be shared with other guests (Pools, Hot Tub, Roof Deck, etc)

The Front Desk is staffed 24hrs a day. You will check in with them. They will provide your room keys and be available to assist with any issues or questions during your stay.

Guest checking in at Front Desk must be 21 years of age or older with a valid photo ID. Your Credit Card will be charged with a temporary hold amount of $1 to $100, and this amount will be fully refunded at checkout (minus any charges you may have made to your room).

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room.

- Ocean Beach Club is professionally managed and operated by Diamond Resorts. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance. They are there to help so please don’t hesitate to contact them during your stay.

- This is a FLOATING unit type. What that means is that you are guaranteed an OCEANFRONT VIEW 1BR/1BA as depicted in the photos, but your unit location (High or Low floor, etc) and specific balcony configuration will be determined at Check In. You may also call the Front Desk ahead of time about 7-10 days before Check-In and request a certain unit location. Although you can never be guaranteed a specific location the Front Desk will usually try to accommodate requests if they can.

- One Free parking pass is included with this unit, but the Ocean Beach Club / Oceanaire complex does not have direct onsite parking. There is a Parking Garage across the street where you will park and be given a parking key card to use during your stay. If you need a parking pass for an additional vehicle you can arrange this directly with the Front Desk for an additional fee.

- Bedding linens, blankets, pillows are provided, as are bath towels. If you need additional items or want fresh bedding linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk. Although bedding linens, blankets, and pillows are provided, you may want to bring some of your own if you have a favorite pillow or blanket.

- If you plan on using the Sleeper sofa during your stay, I do personally recommend (if possible) bringing sheets, blankets, pillows, maybe even a mattress pad for the Sleeper sofa specifically, which can be turned into a very comfortable extra bed.

- Pool towels are provided for free, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis. However, if you or your family owns and likes larger beach towels, I recommend bringing them, along with any other beach blankets / chairs / umbrellas / equipment you want at the beach. If you don’t bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas, equipment, etc you can rent them on the beach out in front of the facility.

- Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, shampoos, etc are all provided. If you need more during your stay you can contact the Front Desk and they can provide them. We have never personally had an issue receiving the supplies we needed. There is also a Harris Teeter grocery store conveniently located within a few minutes from the facility if you want to shop for any groceries or personal items you want during your stay.

- There is no daily housekeeping provided. However, the Front Desk can provide a vacuum, or broom and dustpan, to use in your unit if you wanted it. Washers and Dryers are also available (at no additional charge) on alternating floors for guests to use if desired. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the Front Desk.

- For trash disposal during your stay, there are utility rooms with trash chutes located on every floor. Just open the door and drop your trash bag down the chute. If you need more trash bags you can request those as well from the Front Desk.

- Ice machines are available on every other floor

- If you or any members of your family enjoy bike riding, I strongly recommend taking your own bikes (if you have the means to do so). Virginia Beach was designed with a special bike path along the Boardwalk to cater to bike riders. It's possible to use bikes as your main means of transportation during the week to travel up and down the Boardwalk, and around town. Remember to take your bike locks so you can lock up your bikes at the bike rack each night.

- There is a Virginia Beach Coupon booklet available pretty much everywhere in vending type machines along Atlantic Ave, including the Front Desk / Lobby at pretty much all the properties in VB. In this booklet you can find some coupons that offer decent discounts on food, entertainment, and equipment purchases (like bike rentals if you are not able to bring your own).

- Once reservations are confirmed, you will be asked for the name and address of the main guest who will check in (the resort's Front Desk will also ask for this information when you check in, but obtaining this information beforehand will expedite the check in process) along with an email address to receive a personal confirmation.

- This is a timeshare resort but attending a presentation or taking a tour is NEVER required.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The Virginia Beach Boardwalk and surrounding area is unique among East Coast beach locations because it has many Oceanfront, Oceanside, Marina, and Bay dining choices, including many with outdoor seating. There is also live music venues all along the boardwalk in the evenings.

GETTING AROUND

If you like to ride bikes, you can park your car and almost not need it for the week as it is easy to travel the boardwalk on your bike. If you don't bring your own there are bike rental stations up and down the boardwalk, including one near Ocean Beach Club (right outside the Sheraton Hotel).

There is a Virginia Beach trolley that runs up and down Atlantic Boulevard from 40th street down to the Marina below 5th street. This is also an effective way to travel up and down Atlantic Boulevard not needing a car.
