Motel a Noroeste de Wisconsin

“Obviously an old rosdside motel, but newly remodeled inside, very clean, with quite comfortable beds. Staff (owners?) were very friendly & helpful. They even had a small welcome gift for us. Safe feeling & very conveniently located right off I94. Good value.”

“Stew met us outside and welcomed us to Northwoods Motel. He checked us in and told us about the features of the motel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet and comfortable and close to town. We had a couple non-motel related issues and Stew gave good advice and offered to help in any way he could. I would easily stay here again when in Hayward!”

“There was no one at 5:30-6pm to check in. There was a note to call and someone did answer but seems very odd. Once in the room, discovered the refrigerator was full of water, there was chinese food leftover from a previous guest, there was what looked like a blood stain by the door (they did reply saying it was polish), there was a stain on the bedroom sheets on one bed, the vent in the bathroom was rattling terrible. The cart to bring luggage to the room was not working properly, the wheels...

“ Should update the pictures. The reason we booked is it showed a hot tub. No longer have one. Pool was super cold. Water out from the tub / shower was orange and brown. For quite some time. Water pressure real low at times so the shower wouldn't work to route the water to. No TV service at all. But the bed was really comfy! I understand things are in progress and being updated. Just really wish there was a hot tub in the pool area like the pics show. ”

“We were in the middle of check-in when the establishment was rated by the police force and temporarily shut down do to a search for drug-related issues. Apparently this was not the first time and this is a known establishment where drug deals frequently happen clearly we didn't know that when we booked but thankfully we were able to get a room at another hotel nearby where there were no issues needless to say I would not recommend staying here to save a few dollars when there could be safety...

“The property was clean and the room was very nice. The desk staff was helpful and took good care of us at our check in. If we are ever back in Menomonie and need a motel, we will more than likely stay here again.”
