“I believe this our 4th visit to the Malibu Beach Resort. It’s a terrific vintage motel (2 stories, L shaped, with a pool in the courtyard). Rooms are clean and basic, but have all that you need for a beach vacation. We stayed in a newly renovated apartment and it was awesome. The location is perfect, across the street from the beach. “Across the street from the beach, great sunsets from balcony! Spa like feel to this property. Comfortable bed and beachy/spa decor. Bikes available, beach towels, cooler and beach chairs also available at no additional fees. Staff was very friendly. Walking distance to restaurants down the street. Would highly recommend and we plan to return again.”

“I had read the reviews and they reflect my experience: it’s a small hotel (less than 30 rooms), with small rooms but we’ll organized. I was traveling solo, so it was ok with me but, if you travel with others, you really need to be intimate as the bathroom is really tiny. Very helpful host and I was also allowed to leave the room one hour later than normal check out. The hotel has a pool but I opted for the beach which is beautiful and literally across the street.
