Hotel con bar a Northeastern New Mexico

“This is the kind of Motel I love and they are so hard to find anymore. It has all the old fashioned amenities and is welcoming. I love to be able to park right outside the door take my stuff in. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet. I just wish they had been open for the restaurant and bar on Tuesday.”

“We were so surprised. We drove past, were a little unsettled at the facade, went in and still unsure. There is some remodelling going on. During check in, we were put at ease. She was so helpful, engaging & friendly. Then she said, we need to go outside and go through the red door! WHAT? Really? As we were walking up, she told us the place was built in 1883,added a little history and that we had her favorite room and why, then showed us in. SO SURPRISED.
