“Very nice quiet and clean motel. I would definitely come back.”

“First impression - dead plants and unkept flower beds in the front of the hotel and dirty windows. The hotel is rundown and had an odd musty smell which was layered with frebreeze. No exhaust fan in the bathroom, or sink plug. We had to request towels as there were none in the room upon arrival. Furniture and fixtures show signs of excessive wear and large visible stains in hallway carpet. Bathroom shower had visible cracks in the base. Green algae in the pool area on the tiles. Guest...

“We arrived late (arrangement made to get key as office closed). Unfortunately no shampoo or conditioner or body wash were in room - just a bar of soap. Free breakfast was only a muffin and coffee. Clean and quiet but stay was just okay.”

“It is an excellent location. The staff were all super helpful. It’s also convenient as it has a take-out restaurant, convenience store (that sells beer, wine, etc.) & a souvenir store. The beach & lake are literally across the road. Each morning we both received one of their famous apple fritters (made daily) and our choice of a coffee/tea/hot chocolate. We would definitely recommend staying here.”

“The staff were lovely and did what they could, it comes down to the higher ups. They are not dealing with their pest issue and have an infestation of carpenter ants, they only give two full size towels even though four people are booked to a room, and they only have one staff who is responsible for the breakfast buffet. One person is both cleaning up and cooking after the rush of guests. It is nowhere near enough and they need a second person. We didn't see any bed bugs so at least that.”
