Questo accogliente rifugio per le vacanze si trova in una splendida campagna ed è stato sapientemente convertito per offrire la posizione perfetta per rilassarsi e distendersi o esplorare le numerose attrazioni della zona. Adiacente alla casa del proprietario con il suo grazioso giardino completamente recintato, si trova nel villaggio di Cantley a soli 3 km dalle locande sul fiume nel villaggio di Reedham, dove possono essere noleggiate barche e i visitatori possono godere di un punto di pesca, o semplicemente guardare il il mondo via via via via all'acqua passa I ciclisti e gli escursionisti adoreranno esplorare le numerose e tranquille stradine di campagna e la vicina Breydon Water è un paradiso per gli amanti del birdwatching. Acle, una deliziosa cittadina di mercato, si trova a 5 miglia di distanza e la gloriosa spiaggia di Winterton, con la sua passeggiata di 6 miglia, offre l'osservazione delle foche. Cromer per i suoi famosi frutti di mare e Wroxham (la capitale del Broads) sono tutti a breve distanza. Prendi il treno dalla vicina stazione o prosegui fino alla città medievale di Norwich, con i suoi bei negozi, la cattedrale e il castello. Le riserve di golf, pesca e RSPB sono facilmente raggiungibili. Negozio 3 miglia pub che serve cibo ½ miglio.

Just got back from a fabulous week at the old stables.

Just got back from a fabulous week at the old stables. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and equipped very well. Lovely welcome from host with a bottle of wine, and fresh eggs The grounds had chickens, ducks, peacocks and lots of horses.The surrounding area had a train station not far away which went to Great Yarmouth or Norwich.Local pubs did fabulous food, staff very friendly It is a very tranquil cottage no car sounds which is a bonusThankyou to Imogen and hopefully we will come back soon

What can one say just great beautiful place everything you need and so much space .

What can one say just great beautiful place everything you need and so much space .inside was so clean and much bigger than what we thought and everything you needed in the kitchen .outside lovely garden quiet surrounded by the horses and birds the hens ,chickens,duck and the three beautiful peacocks which would come so close was able to feed them all each morning. the owners were friendly and welcoming. We visited all surrounding areas which were very easy to get to and mostly dog friendly which she really loved running around on the beach in and out of the water and the lovely lakes near by .also visited the near by pub which was very busy and could understand why after ordering food so fresh large portions and not badly priced. Can't say one bad word about our stay at all and are already planning our next visit

Loved the cottage and it’s location. Rural but easy access to shops, take aways and pubs with food. Good access to countryside and the many lovely beaches of Norfolk. Our dog loved it too!

A lovely peaceful cottage, very private and fully equiped, comfortable seating in the lounge.

A lovely peaceful cottage, very private and fully equiped, comfortable seating in the lounge. We would think not suitable for a disabled person as the stairs are very steep. We was made very welcome by the owners they were also kind enough to leave a welcome pack and biscuits for our dog. A nice large garden and seating area. Anyone booking this cottage would not be disappointed. Excellent information on places to visit in the folders and leaflets that are in the cottage for you to read.

I went for some peace and quiet, so The Stables was perfect for me.

I went for some peace and quiet, so The Stables was perfect for me. There is a co-op 4 miles down the road and Gt Yarmouth, for bigger shops is only a short drive. The walking and cycling is excellent there - I know the area as used to live 2 miles from the cottage in the 1990s. My hosts couldn’t have been better. They were wonderful. Welcoming and very friendly. They gifted me a dozen eggs, mid week. The welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, fresh eggs and a bottle of wine was most appreciated. I had a lovely time and would definitely book here again.
