“Rooms very beaten down, marks on walls, paint peeling off bathroom door. I understand you get what you pay for as it was cheap but the rooms could have been cleaner, there was loads of spider webs above windows and all on ceiling. Had 2 power cuts during the night. At least bed was comfortable ”

“Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. ”

While walking barefoot in the room, I felt something sharp under my foot — it was a piece of nail that a previous guest had cut and left on the floor, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. “Amazing place to stay, we had a double room with our own bathroom. Everything was clean, spacious, and comfortable while being convenient and sustainable. The location was right in the city centre but still nice and quiet and the reception staff was the loveliest, giving us local recommendations and letting us leave our luggage during the day. Would definitely recommend!”

A few things to note - the reception is located in a different area of the campus to the accommodation. For the reception you want to navigate to the South entrance on Landcroft Lane and then take the first left.
