“Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. ”

“I arrived at the hotel very late night and tired, and I had to wake up early for my 8:00 a.m. flight. While walking barefoot in the room, I felt something sharp under my foot — it was a piece of nail that a previous guest had cut and left on the floor, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. It was obvious the room was not clean, but since I needed to rest, I decided to mention it at the reception before leaving. “Hotel does have some parking but the majority of parking is either on street or at NCP near Tesco. Decent pubs in the immediate vicinity of the hotel restaurant which looked good”

“In camera non è stato fatto il letto per il minore. Alla reception ci è stato dato l'occorrente, per il secondo letto, " elegantemente" infilato in un sacco nero dell'immondizia. Il pavimento di tutta la hall e zona colazione è appiccicosa ( da quanti mesi non viene pulita decentemente?). Nel complesso, per una notte, va bene ma ci sarebbe tanto da lavorare...”

“We really enjoyed our stay for just one night. We found the parking convenient and safe, although we did an extra circuit of the campus as the signposting in the last 150 metres wasn't clear. “Nice clean room, good shower and beds. It's such good value and basic which is all I needed as was at the BTCC at Donginton Park all day. Nice selection of beers in the bar and friendly staff. This is my second time using this hotel and will use again in the future.”

“Great location for town centre. Good sized room and had everything you needed. Most of the staff friendly (especially the 2 ladies). Breakfast good value for money. Car park next door you have to pay for but it was reasonable.”

“I booked a twin room but it was made up as a double so had to get this changed. Requested a walk in shower but got a shower room with glass walls! Staying with my 90 year old mother so was not happy with this. Hotel looked lovely from outside but inside decor was very bland and boring. Gardens had not been yended to and grass not cut. Having informed the hotel i was staying with my 90 yo mother and requested a downstairs room they put us at the far end of the hotel so we to walk a ling way....

“Room was very cold on arrival, very musty smell throughout the whole building, carpet in the bathroom which seems unhygienic, lots of dead spiders in the window and the room itself wasn't very clean. When I wanted to complain there was nobody around so ended up leaving the key at the desk and driving home ”

“Room I was given was visible tired but when looking closer it was clear that the cleaning was not completed to a standard I would expect. Walls were full of holes and wall plugs, bathroom accessories were broken and to top it off no hot water in the morning. Personally I will not be staying here again.”
