“Good value for money, not worth more than 1 night as a driving stop”

“Fabulous view! The bathroom was in need of repairs. Parking could be tricky at times. The restaurant was amazing! Front desk staff was amazing. ”

“Very nice property! Great location, nice views, very nice room which was very clean especially for a Pet friendly room. They had everything you need in the room. The grounds/gardens are well maintained and pretty. Nicely lit at night. The restaurant/Tavern was excellent; great food, wonderful atmosphere and service. Our server Matt was amazing! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Even our fur babies enjoyed the stay just as much as we did. We will be coming back here for sure!”

“The Weller House is a lovely 1886 historic home converted into a small hotel. Many of the furnishings are period antiques, and each room is decorated with a different color scheme. Being an old house, it does possess some of the quirks inherent, like creaky floors and stairs everywhere, but it is completely charming. It is also located within walking distance from much of the central downtown area. Two thumbs up!”

“Pictures online very deceptive. This is a very old hotel. The description of a balcony is quite generous. I had a sliding door onto a concrete pad with a fence separating you from a loud bunch of machinery. Definitely not a place you would want to hang out”

“Anchor Lodge was beautiful! We had such a fun stay and it was amazing waking up hearing the sea lions and watching the boats. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“The view from our room made the stay worth it all. The shower was perfect. The pool said closed but it wasn’t. They keep the cover on to keep it warm but it wasn’t warm. The free breakfast is so so. Not great but not bad. The property is pretty but could use some work. Just like the rooms. The bed was comfy enough. It could have been better but it could have been worse!! Staff was super kind! Natalie was very nice and friendly. ”

“The room we stayed at wasn’t very clean. There is definitely lots of dust on different surfaces, including clumped up hair in the bathroom. It worked for what it is, but I wouldn’t return to this place. ”

“Rome wasn’t clean. Left over pizza stuff under the beds in both rooms. Shower wasn’t cleaned. Hair still around shower and shower walls were grimy and slimy. Beds were soft and a/c heater worked. No satellite signal to watch tv. No usb adapters or anything. Very plain and classic motel 6 experience and expectations. The place compared to the web page is a total opposite.”

“Older motel that has been nicely remodeled. Great staff, beautiful views, rooms were clean, beds and bedding clean and comfortable. ”

“We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the back patio and open space to the garden, the short walk to a semi-private beach, and the pickle ball courts. The property was well maintained. The renovations and overall design of the room was great too— you can tell they put a lot of thought into it to make sure guests feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their stay.”
