“I LOVED the lock box key card for people who travel late. The property isn’t 24 hours because it is a small town but they do give you options to have your key card in a lock box with a unique code for those who arrive late. We arrived at midnight and were able to get into our room perfectly! I ended up needing extra towels and a broom (due to breaking a glass personal item) and they had maintenance come and clean it up even though i told them i would happily do so! “This is the second time we've stayed here recently, and the staff has always been great - friendly, proactive and helpful. The hotel is about 2 miles from downtown Ft. Bragg, but there are several restaurants within an easy walk (we like The Wharf directly across from the hotel). The WiFi was not great during this stay; I don't remember it being like that previously.”

“We had to ask for an extra blanket. There was no coffee machine in the room. The towel rack in the bathroom was falling off of the wall.”

“We stopped at Fort Bragg for a shut eye!! No available hotels anywhere but Motel 6. We took our chance but we're disappointed. Couldn't wait for the morning to check out. Floor was sticky! Hot water was scorching HOT! Lots of kids running and screaming outside, so much for getting some sleep after a long drive. So sad as Motel 6 used to be a decent place to stay in. Not sure why they just let it go like that. Not maintained at all. Sad to see it going downhill..”

“What a hidden gem! A treat to have two king size beds in one room. The linens and mattresses were top notch. We enjoyed smores at the fire pit. It was quiet and well maintained and great for the price. Would happily return.”

“This is my fav mendo trip spot. Beautiful views, rooms were large, nice deck, comfortable bedding, the fireplace soaking tube is amazing, the room is stocked with everything you need even a fan and ear plugs if you dont enjoy the foghorn but we did. Its definitely an older place but they stay on top of repairs. Easy parking, great lobby. We didnt partake in the grab and go breakfast but the area looked nice. Honestly loved it.”

“Very clean rooms, good location close to shoreline, has pickle ball courts and pet friendly facilities .”

“The location was great. I think a little too expensive for $300 something a night. There is no A/C in the rooms, which is fine because if the screen is open it’s perfect, but the screens do not lock and we were downstairs right next to the bike path, so we were not going to leave it wide open. Free coffee in the morning and the fire pits were nice, but right next to some rooms in a weird location. All in all, great place and we would probably visit again in a few years, but I believe the price...
