“Delightfully friendly and kind hosts. Very clean place. Simple rooms, with everything you need, and shared washrooms. Nice breakfast. The shuttle to the lift is nice (although also easily walkeable in 10-15 minutes). The onsen bath downstairs is a definite bonus.”

“東京→新潟→宿泊→糸魚川→東京　の道中に使わせて頂きました。 学生時代に部活やサークルの合宿で使うような雰囲気の建物をリノベーションされたような感じです。全体的にキレイで快適に過ごせます。 部屋も広いので家族4人でゆったり出来ます。 朝食も美味しく、スタッフの方も明るく親切。大満足でした。 検索した時は、同じような価格帯で安定したクオリティが予想されるビジネスホテルも出てきましたが、こちらを選択して良かったと思います。 広い部屋でゆったり、を希望する人には特にお勧めしたいです。 ”

“Family of 5, booked 2 rooms with ensuites. Everything was great from the amenities to the food and helpful staff. The Ryokan is around a 300-500m walk from the ski lifts however they offer a shuttle service every morning. You can also reserve the shuttle at other times to head out to restaurants etc.”

“The hotel room was clean. I asked for the eco service but still didn’t receive towels. At check-in I felt very rushed. As I was entering my information, I was asked for my passport, then in reaching for my passport they wanted me typing my information. Three front desk staff talking and explaining while checking in. Difficult getting a taxi. Anytime I went to the desk I was treated like I was bothering them. After traveling throughout Japan, this is not the hospitality of other top Japanese...

“If I could give 6 stars I would. This place and its staff were amazing. Our room had a private spring fed tub in the room, a sauna, a massage chair and tons of space. The pictures didn't do it justice. The staff was crazy attentive, served us an impressive breakfast and was helpful every step of the way. We would 100% stay again.
