Outstanding location and home for 8 people!

We cooked all our meals for a week for 8 people in this great Villa. The king bed was very comfortable, the B unit was perfect for the grandma and aunt, the pull out bed in the sofa was fine, a bit torn on the edges, however the whole unit was gorgeous and pristine. The washer and dryer were a lifesaver. Maybe a recommendation would be to have the last guest clean out dryer lint and run the washer on clean cycle. The boogie boards for the ocean were well used by my 8, 6 and 9 year old. The pool was amazing and our whole week here was invaluable. Thank you.

Great La Estancia stay

We stay at La Estancia every year. We keep coming back for many reasons - great location in Nuevo Vallarta, the property is very well maintained, nice beach, the pool (and the pool bar), large units with multiple bedrooms, full kitchens and great common spaces, and high quality service. And this specific rental from Brad and Joey was our favorite of all time. A few reasons why. These units are mostly the same but not identical. Location matters, and this one was right in the center of the main tower, high floor, with amazing views of the ocean. Second, there were upgrades on appliances, such as a really nice washer and dryer. Third, the communication with Brad was very responsive and easy. And then, for me, the icing on the cake. I have a pet peeve with stays in rental units that are stripped bare before each new renter. Trying to cook something, and there is no salt or pepper or even a little cooking oil? Seriously? This was the opposite, in a good way. The pantry was full of odds and ends - seasonings, dry goods, canned goods, a little pancake syrup, etc. We still went to the grocery store of course, and then left everything behind we didn't eat for the next family. Everyone wins. All in all, we definitely would recommend this rental from Brad and Joey!

Excellent Location for Family

Terrific Accommodations for a family of 7. Excellent beach, never felt too crowded. Awesome facilities. Our friends stayed in other unit owned by this couple and they were just a floor apart which made doing group travel awesome.

Spring Break 2020

This is a fabulous property. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to COVID-19. The USA announced border closures during our stay and the property was looking to vacate everyone who was not owners. I have to say Brad and Joey were very understanding and accommodating. We were able to receive a credit for the 4 nights we did not use and Brad was able to secure us an even better unit and view! Thanks Brad!

Why we would not stay again

There are many positives about this unit and resort, all of them are listed in the advertisement from the property manager. Below are the reasons why we would not stay there again. Our review comes from staying at this specific unit for 32 consecutive days and secondly our experience comes from having stayed at over 30+ resorts world wide in the 4-5 star category. There are three main problems with this unit in our opinion. Number one, the bed is even worse than all the reviews say. My wife’s comment hit the nail on the head, “it’s like we are being tortured”. It is basically like sleeping on a sheet of wood with a worn out foamy on top. The foam that was added is worn out and a person just sinks into the hard bed underneath and sweats. Vacations help to relax and usually lead to good night sleeps, that will not happen on this particular bed. Secondly, it took a few days to understand what the smell in the unit was but it basically comes from the area rugs, door matts and the ends of the couches. All three of those things need to be either thrown out or professionally steam cleaned as they smell absolutely terrible. (Likely been there since day 1?) The B side of the unit is better but the A side, where you spend most of the time, stinks terrible. Lastly, we have never stayed at a place that advertises to be five-star but comes with towels that feel like sandpaper when you get out of the shower or wash your face. Towels are something you use every day and when they were as ragged as the ones in this unit it definitely leaves a lasting impression. (See picture if I can add it) We made note of all of these issues to the property manager during the stay and they indicated they would pass it on to the owner but nothing ever came back from either the property manager or the owner. All of these things can be corrected if the owners are willing to spend some of their rental income on upgrades to the bed, furniture, rugs/matts and towels. Without changes in these three areas we would not spend one more night in this unit at any price.

Great place, great resort, great family vacation!

Could not have asked for a better beach, better pool, better resort, better room and better property managers. Top notch vacation from check in to check out. Will definitely be staying here again!

A lovely break between Christmas and New Year

Although Puerto Vallarta can be inundated with travelers during the holiday season, Villa La Estancia is still reasonably quiet, and the weather is almost perfect this time of year. We've stayed in various units at Villa La Estancia over the past few years, and the floorplans for a 2-bedroom condo are essentially the same. This unit is on the 7th floor and has a fantastic view of the sunset, and gives a great perspective over the whole resort. This unit also included a gas grill on the balcony. A quick taxi ride to Mega or La Comer provides excellent quality chicken and steak. It's always nice to watch the sunset while preparing a delicious meal.

Amazing time at Villa La Estancia

We returned to Villa La Estancia this year. This time we connected with Brad & Joey to find a 2 bedroom villa available for 3 weeks. It was perfect. We liked the location of Villa 2703 as it has great views of the resort and the ocean. It’s also very quiet in that area as you’re not right beside the pool. It’s a little longer walk to go back and forth to the beach but still just 3 or 4 minutes away! The villa was very well equipped. We ate out of few nights but cooked many dinners there. Bonus: it has a nice BBQ ! Local supermarket is a nice walk away and you take a taxi back for 75 pesos! Brad & Joey were very helpful, answered many of our questions very promptly and gave us many tips on what to do and where to eat in the area. The staff at Villa La Estancia is very caring, friendly and helpful. Esbai and his team at the beach, Gabriel & Mario, took very good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. My sister was with my husband and I. Esbai went the extra length to learn some french...while we tried our best to learn some Spanish! The waiters were all friendly and came by regularly. Great to see Ricardo again with his amazing smile and obvious desire to make sure we were not out of Pina Colada for too long ! And the staff at the front of the hotel were so pleasant and nice to chat with any time we arrived or left the hotel. Thanks to Jerry, Omar & Raul for friendliness. Jerry even recognized us from last year when we arrived. Pretty impressive considering the amount of tourists they see every year. I would not hesitate to return to Villa La Estancia, rent this unit or any unit that Brad & Joey recommend. They do a great job.

Pure Bliss

A somewhat last minute escape from the freezing midwest and again, a beautiful visit. VLE has been a recurring destination for the past 10 years and it's always proved to be unbeatable on every level. The location, the villas, the staff, the beach, Bucerias, are all the reasons we return year after year!
