“First of all the location is excellent… right in the middle of the rainforest, although the drive up there is not for the faint hearted. My room was very basic, which was expected. The thing I didn’t like was that the door to the deck didn’t seal at all, so when the wind blew at night it rattled the blinds and kept me awake. “This place was amazing! It was a style of Palm Springs. Parking on site, 2 min walk to the beach, coles across the road, with cafes, restaurants and walking tracks. The owner was so nice and explained how he started this motel. The rooms including bathroom, kitchen, living room was huge. Between 4 people the place was spacious for all of us. “Great place to stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and the location was excellent. Our only issue was with a group of young guests in the room next door who returned around 2:00 am and started making a lot of noise as though they were continuing the party in their room. Unfortunately, I had to get up and ask them to keep the noise down so we could get some sleep. Aside from that disturbance, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.”

“This was a great little spot. We only had one night here before heading up to Brisbane but would happily have stayed longer. The rooms were good sizes, beds were comfortable, shower pressure was amazing. A short stroll up the road to some yummy eateries and a supermarket. There was a bit of noise- friday night so thats probably expected, but other than that I cant really fault it.”
