“I was starting one night with family on our drive to Houston. The bed and bedding was to our liking. It was quiet and plenty of parking. Not sure about the safety of area itself, but we had no issues. The property was 100 % smoke free, which was great!”

“We went for a weekend of baseball. The pool was not clean. The water was green with algae. After a long day of baseball the boys wanted to swim but weren’t able to due to the swamp water. Also, our restroom smelled like sewage. For the price we payed over the few days it was not worth the stay.”

“First time we stay at this hotel. The property was clean and appeared well kept. Our room was also very clean as was the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did have to leave a one hundred dollar deposit, we found that a bit unusual and our room was extremely cold. We had to turn on the heater.... and it was 97 degrees outside. The breakfast seemed "ok", we went to Denny's instead.”

“It was a basic but comfortable room, very clean and had everything I needed for an overnight stay. The price was very good, the property was quiet and well-maintained. I was able to park right in front of my room. Easy check-in procedure & even faster check-out. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.”

“READ THE REVIEWS! I wish I would have before I booked. This place looks like a nightmare. I got the moldy room. The overwhelming smell hit as soon as you walked in. Smelled like a forgotten wet towel sealed in a basement since the 1970's. Decided to sit it the car and read through the reviews. Multiple reports of bed bugs and roaches. Sleeping in the parking lot would have earned more stars. Do yourself a favor and book the better maintained property up the road for the same price that this...

“I booked this stay on Father's Day weekend. My husband enjoyed himself from the time we unloaded the car. He was sitting by the lake with pole in the water within less than an hour of our arrival. The check in was nice and smooth. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There's also a little convenient store on property. The cabin had an issue prior to our arrival but the hostess informed me of it and had already taken care of it. Cabin was clean and in order. The neighbors were all welcoming and...

“Roaches, roaches roaches!!! Probably doesnt help the fact that - upon entering room, i could smell the pizza that was still left in the microwave!!! AC worked but I felt like it could go out any minute. The bed seemed made up and clean sheets - but these sheets needed to be replaced and thrown out! Old, thin and lots of tiny holes in them. Went to my new car thru out the night just to feel comfortable!!! Would ask for a refund - but I bet they get asked for refunds a lot and have gotten good...
