“If you just need a bed for the night, it is more than adequate, all very tidy and warm. Even though it is on the main highway, could hardly hear the traffic”

“This is a perfectly servable older style Motel, while it is dated it is clean and functional. The guest laundry only being accessible 'by appointment' is not at all convenient. Parking is good but more care should be taken to do the small things. e.g. the ashtray out the front of my unit had the same cigarette butts in it for 3 days. There were their when I arrived and never moved.”

The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, making the stay feel warm and personal. Overall, a fantastic experience — I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Oamaru.”
