Cottage a Oberwald

“Rooms were clean except for cigarettes in ashtray when we went to our room . Elevator smelled of sulphur. As to Sauna, we are rather sad that it was naked only. We are 2 prudish people and not comfortable around nude people, so couldnt use it. Breakfast was average..Oh and we would have liked a little more complimentary Proseco.."Free minibar was a disappointment had a coupple of beers and apple juice Now all the good . “fantastico, mancava a Grindelwald un posto totalmente nuovo, come design e come concetto. Spa di livello, camera ampia e curata, ristorante molto buono. e soprattutto personale molto cordiale e gentile.”

“L'albergo è bello, la vista sulle montagne pure. La colazione è abbondante. Non c'è un parcheggio coperto, ma un posto auto sì. L'elemento che lascia un po' perplessi è il prezzo: il costo di una notte è eccessivo. L'albergo in cui abbiamo soggiornato la notte precedente a Berna (sempre in Svizzera) non offriva di meno, ma costava poco più di metà.Grindewald è circondata da bellissime montagne, ma di per sé non ha nessuna bellezza (niente a che vedere con alcuni altri centri montani delle Alpi)....

“Overall is a nice hotel in an historic building; the surrounding area is really beautiful with a covered bridge almost in front. The services provided are limited, some of the furniture outdate (some is actually vintage and it’s nice). Breakfast buffet is good but a bit limited”

“The room was clean and quite nice. Unfortunately no bath robe and slippers. No gym either. Nice breakfast the morning after. Parking very expensive. Do not use it, there is a public one close and much cheaper. The position of the hotel is central. On the railway tracks but no noise at all. Overall a good experience.”
