Hotel vicino a Ocean View Beach - Norfolk

“I felt deceived be Expedia giving this sight a 9.2 rating. The room was very small and the sight was nothing fancy. We had an old time bed spread my grandma might have put on her bed. I’m in transition while I sell my house in Front Royal so I have been in many hotels. This one is more like a 6 or 7. I paid more for this room only because of the rating you gave it. I could have saved a lot by choosing a hotel with a 6 rating and would have been just as happy.”

“Enjoyed the breakfast and was delighted to wake up in the morning and look out at the beach.”

“They charged an extra $4 beyond the Expedia site quoted pay-at-hotel $8 additional fee . So the extra fee at the hotel is actually $12, not $8. False advertising!”

“Rooms smelled like cigarettes, i had to change my room. Refrigerator., furniture and beds were old and worn out and dirty. To me it was not worth the money. I stood here 2 different times. First time I checked out and was refunded my money. This time I was told no refunds. Due to 3 navy ships coming in all hotels was booked. Do your home work.”

“Room was very clean, had plenty of parking, staff were amazing. Clean pool and gym. And complimentary laundry. Will be staying here again”

“We enjoyed our stay. It was nice to have breakfast available each morning at the hotel. Not a huge selection of breakfast items but it was sufficient. Staff was very kind. The only negative was in regards to housekeeping services. We were aware that housekeeping would come in every other day. We received fresh clean towels and garbages were emptied but beds were not made or sheets changed the 4 days we were there. Overall, it was a good hotel.”

“I was not told it was under renovation. Carpets taken up, holes cut in the ceiling in a hallway bathroom. Liquid leaking from a refrigerator in the hallway, construction dust around vending machines, food droppings in the hallway not cleaned up. Previous tenants clump of hair on the floor in room. Also had requested a location with a pool. They had taken pool out. The condition of this hotel was not worth the price at all. It is now making me rethink my choices of hotel chains.”

“The room was clean, although the property itself, is in a sketchy area & done of the people staying their were a bit sketchy, too. This was my second time staying there & both times there were police at the location responding to a disturbance. Thankfully, this didn't occur at night. Both occasions seemed to be during the middle of the day.”

“The toilet in our room wouldn’t flush properly. Tried to call the front desk using the phone in the room, but there was no connection to the front desk. There was no bath gel wash in the container in the shower. Lighting in the room is very dim.”

“Pleasant staff, room clean. Kitchen amenities were helpful. Lots of extended stay folks. Worked for our needs. Hotel room needed more trash cans”
