Exquisite Newly Renovated Historic Lake Country Home - Maison La Belle

This 1901 historic home is nestled in the perfect location to experience the best of Lake Country Living. The complete interior, exterior, and grounds have been renovated to offer an amazing mix of modern features and comfort. Maison La Belle is located a few blocks from downtown Oconomowoc and adjacent to both Fowler Lake and Lac la Belle - Within walking distance to the city beaches, shopping, and restaurants/bars.

Our 4 bedrooms feature beds with top of the line bedding, expertly chosen decor and furnishings, and ample storage for your possessions.

The luxuriously appointed 3.5 bathrooms include a master ensuite. The second 'bonus' master bath is a spa-like oasis that will enhance your vacation experience.

If gourmet is your thing our kitchen will bring out your inner chef. It features an ILVE dual fuel range and double ovens with a removable griddle and rotisserie.

Maison La Belle features many indoor gathering spaces, including a formal living room and dining room, large reception/foyer, and TV lounge.

The home is situated on a spacious corner lot with a sprawling lawn and gardens with a white picket fence. We have created dedicated gathering areas to help you enjoy the outdoors and enhance your stay. Our grand porch is outfitted with ceiling fans and lounge seating for 11.

We had a wonderful family Christmas get-together at Maison La Belle. It was decorated beautifully with lots of tasteful touches. The host, Brian, was very communicative & fixed a problem with lightening speed. Of all the VRBO's we've stayed in, this kitchen was the most well-equipped. Although we were not able to take advantage of the front porch or yard space, the town was festive with Christmas lights & a nice walk on a Winter day.

5 Star Stay - Perfection - Book Now!

I’ve rented many vacation homes across the US and Maison La Belle is by far the most wonderful. We’re an extended family of 11 - 8 adults, 2 kids, 1 infant. Each space in the home and outside was just perfect for us. The home is very large - very roomy - with 2 living/family areas downstairs, huge dining area and fantastic kitchen just FULL of every amenity and tool and fun serving pieces you could ask for. But the front porch is the star of the show! Expansive with comfortable furnishings. Ceiling fans. The home is on a semi-busy residential street which made for good people watching but driveway and street parking is on a quiet side street. Backyard is beautiful and fire pit with Adirondack chairs was cute. Charcoal Weber grill. Outdoor lighting is fun. All beds are very comfortable. Rooms are nicely decorated. 3 full bath upstairs and half bath off dining room. 2 staircases. Quiet floors - no squeaking. The decorations throughout the home are first class. Wonderful candles. Lovely bar area between kitchen and dining and fun bar cart in family room. Multiple gas fireplaces. Nest A/C worked well. 600’ from small Bender Beach which was perfect for kids and sunset. Easy stroll into town. We cannot recommend this home more and can’t wait to return.

Wonderful and Relaxing Stay

From start to finish, this is a great property. There were 6 of us during this stay and we all enjoyed our stay. So much room to spread out and enjoy the spaces. We had perfect weather so a lot of it tine was spent on the beautiful front porch. The bedrooms were spacious and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked. The location was perfect for walking down to the lake or the downtown areas. Definitely recommend!!

Out of town family for a baby shower

The house was beautiful. Well equipped and comfortable. Had a few elderly individual staying at the home, they were just a little scared of the stairs. (narrow stairs and curvy). Great location to the function all had to attend. Close to town and walkable. I would gladly use this VRBO again I loved the home!

Best vacation rental ever!

My friends and I recently stayed here for a wedding weekend and it truly exceeded all expectations. Pictures don’t do it justice, the home is so beautiful, well appointed and exceptionally clean! It had everything we could have wanted/needed; the whole group of 10 of us agreed it was the nicest rental we’ve stayed at. The location also can’t be beat!

Family Wedding Near By

We came together from Arizona, Washington, California and Indiana. Wonderful accommodations and super location. Rain did not dampen our time together as we gathered on the front porch to visit and enjoy the ambiance of a wonderful neighborhood. Beautiful home and tastefully decorated. Super comfortable. Walkers delight; close to main part of town with many restaurants and boutiques. Gracious, old world charm.

A unique beautifully decorated home in walking distance to fun downtown and lake area. It has a well furnished kitchen with utensils, pans, spices, and anything you’d need to make home cooked meals. Gorgeous yard with room to sit outside in sun and shade, well maintained fire pit, and side yard that has space for yard games.

Convenient, historic, elegant home

Beautiful historic home with a wonderful mix of Victorian elegance and modern conveniences. A spacious, inviting front porch with well maintained grounds. Perfect for a reunion with our family on a great Wisconsin lake. We will definitely attempt to arrange another visit next year with family that live in this amazing part of Wisconsin
