“staff are very helpful. The food was amazing, but there is a little room for improvement on the accommodation marks on the walls. TV aerial cable draped over light fittings, and personally I would’ve liked blackout curtains as the room was very illuminated from outside lighting. but that said I would definitely stay there again. ”

“Very old building, uneven floors gave it character. Very steep steps up to the accommodation level though. No parking, though I thought there was (I guess I misread the information about this place), nearest parking was just round the corner and cost £8 overnight, i.e. 24 hours. This was recommended by the staff when we arrived, not knowing where to park. Next day I asked at nearby Waitrose about free parking and they helpfully pointed out several on-street free parking marked bays which were...

“Very clean but a little worn in places .it was expected for basic price staff were all pleasant and help full home cooked food was excellent . We were a little concerned that there may be a bit of noise from pub but was very quiet . Breakfast left in our room was great idea and good choice with milk and yogurt kept in fridge . Over all very good ”

“Views are great over the square and the check in and communication process was easy. £100 bond was returned quickly and the flat is very secure and spacious. Kitchen is well stocked. Parking was free 6pm to 6am and is a 5-10 minute walk away at Argos and can be paid for remotely from 6am 8am which was £2. ”

“As always a great stay - I book here now rather than the many hotels as it is very comfortable and great to have extra space when you are spending several nights. The apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay. ”
