“ Staff (Peggy) was very friendly and accommodating. Family and I used to come fairly often 25-30 years ago. Nice to see they have the same themed rooms. As always, being right on the ocean front, dealing with sand and TLC for the property is a constant job. I spent four nights there and really enjoyed myself. There was a time a number of years ago when they no longer allowed children. Not sure that is still the case, but would be worthwhile to check. ”

“This was my third stay at the Silver Surf motel, I just love it! My two kids and I have been meeting up with my mom and aunt every year in adjoining rooms. It's very rustic, so if your looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for a rustic, take cozy place to call home right on the beach, look no further! “Drove 2 hours from cannon beach so we could see the Tillamook factory the next day only to find a room that had been smoked in heavily and dirty. Walls, floors, furniture, everything in there felt dirty. $140 is a waste for this place. The floor by the toilet was caving in. We had to drive in the dark another hour tired to find somewhere else to stay. The nicest thing I can say is the hotel had someone texting which we let know. They were responsive and refunded us.”
