“The location of these little cottages is unbeatable. It was super quaint and cute! Has everything you’d need for a weekend getaway for 2. I would NOT try sleeping on the front “sofa” - it was super hard. Definitely a pet friendly unit and smelled a bit like dog pee. We wished the gas fireplace was working but it they had just put a small electric on in front of the gas one, which was still okay. Overall, a decently cheap place to stay for a few nights. “Quiet, self guided place. There is no host to make the place feel personalized but the quality of the stay seems to have improved from previous stays by other guests. Just a few blocks from the beach this group of cottages are off the main drag enough that most things passing by are pedestrians. Parking was convenient and the neighborhood is very quiet. “This place was decent for the price. The kitchen was well stocked and my family enjoyed playing pool and sitting in the sauna when we werent touring the beach or downtown. It was fully fenced and safe for my doggo. The only downfall was no air conditioning and thin walls/curtains separate the sleeping areas. Very nostalgic and cozy. ”

“We love coming to the Cypress Cottage. Super easy check in and easy to find. Quiet little hideaway but an easy walk to Nye beach or stores and restaurants. The host supplies us with everything we need. Totally enjoy staying here every time.”

“Excellent Cottage! It is literally right across the street from the beach access trail. it leads down a slightly steep hill to the private beach! Has all the amenities, just not Keurig. 5 min drive or 20 min walk to downtown. We had a great time! ”

“Absolutely gorgeous view, rooms and bed sizes work well for families. Only thing I would add is that if you are planning to bring a truck to the property (thankfully I brought my suv) it would be very hard to pull into the driveway with the sharp turns going in. Overall…Great place, loved playing ping pong and enjoying the hot tub when the afternoon winds picked up. Good amount of sand castle toys for kids and overall great area for enjoying family dinners and games after a day on the beach. ”

“The house was clean and beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped. The walk to the beach was one of the best parts! I have young children and the walk was much shorter than many beach houses that claim close beach access in their listings. This stretch of the beach is a little south of the busier part of town. This made for cleaner sand and it seemed less busy which was nice. The outdoor space is fenced in with a nice deck, chairs which was nice for visits, reading and letting the kids play. The...

“One problem recognized on arrival dealt with by manager promptly and effectively. Otherwise, only demerits are that upstairs bedrooms did not have night tables where a lamp could be placed or chairs on which you could put your suitcase. Finally, the toaster oven needs to be replaced. All easily fixed.”
