“The McMillan in is absolutely beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable yet held many antiques and furnishings that reflected the Victorian era. The dining and living rooms were especially pretty. The hosts were extremely welcoming and breakfast was delicious. The neighborhood was quiet and we could walk everywhere. “The location of the property was good. Short walk to the beach, 5 minute drive to restaurants. Carpets were dirty. Room was small with a double bed that had a very soft mattress. I sank in at least 8 inches and had to sleep on the floor. The shower was very tiny. Multiple porches to sit on but no ocean view. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, but the innkeeper was from Scotland and talked about America and Americans as subpar. If you are a “peasant” like us, the hotel next door has better...

“The Inn consists of two historic homes from the late 1800s combined into one building by a connecting staircase and hallway. We stayed in 304 with a small balcony overlooking the park and church steps (a very nice view). Another room below us (I believe 204) also had a balcony. It was slightly bigger and had better shade. We really liked our room. It had a 19th century feel, with lots of natural light through the windows and good interior lights, including canned lights in the ceiling. Pretty...
