Hotel a Townsend

“There was no one at the desk at check in, about 7 PM. I waited 5 to 10 minutes before someone showed up. After an 8 hour drive, that was not appreciated. ”

“Property is clean and modern. Plenty of parking even over the busy Memorial Day weekend. Check in and out was very easy. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Lots of reviews mentioned the breakfast was a plus. I’m going to have to disagree. It’s standard, meh, “free” hotel breakfast. Don’t get there towards the end either because not much to choose from. The room was clean and stocked with plenty of towels. Small closet. Mattress and pillows very comfortable. The in room AC wasn’t too loud....

“Room was dated and mold in tub and walls of bath. Curtains did not keep huge lights outside from shining into room. Dining table was dirty at bfast. Food was fine and plenty to choose from. As a Hilton Member this one was not a great stay and there are many more choices across both sides of hiway. Would not stay here again.”

“This was a stop off on the way to savannah - the hotel was convenient and staff helpful and friendly. We stopped at Jesup because it has a railroad line and thought it would be fun to see some really big freight trains. We were not disappointed and continued our journey south quite happy.”

“Beautifully renovated near interstate...parking was a bit confusing as to the entrance...make sure you enter thru the 1st entry at the Comfort Inn entrance and immediately turn left in front of the building and continue till you see the RRI which sits back a bit...staff ULTRA friendly and helpful.”

“Annie was great checking us in and making recommendations for dinner. The room was dated but clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was only cereal, muffins, toast, and waffle. No option that was carbs/sugar. Overall great value for the price.”

“The fact that it was as clean as possible, the staff was knowledgeable about the surrounding area and it was within walking distance of the near-by public beach accesses. Parking was a slight issue, but understandable and it would be better if the room did not have carpet. Overall a great stay and would/will recommend to others.”

“The rooms are very dark, very small windows. Also the fact that you have to continually have the hvac fans on in case of the fire alarms going off, was a pain. Lastly the mattress was old and needs replacing.”
