They welcomed us warmly and told us about the local beaches and recommended local turtle guides, so we got to see some of the Olive Ridleys lay eggs! They even helped us with our special needs (laundry and when a flat tire)! The family tree house is such a unique structure, we loved staying in it. “The house is just as listed, no photoshop needed here.Don't think a 4x4 is required to traverse the roads to the house, as we never used 4wd on our rental, but the peace of mind was there.Secluded, quiet, and the only sounds were the distant waves crashing, birds, and howler monkeys.Coffee in the morning in the outdoor living room, dinner at the outdoor dining table! Very sweet man who showed us around and was available anytime through WhatsApp to answer any questions we had. The house was clean and comfortable and decorated nicely. “Our 10 day retreat, was indeed a retreat! The house opened to the gorgeous pool and view. In fact one of our favorite features was that the entire house could open to our private jungle.
