We booked the lodge the one he showed on the website but when we arrived at the place he told us that property isnt available and he offered us another ridiculous place to stay, when we entered there omg it was dirty, the toielt was blocked and it was big mess. “The welcome at Palmers was excellent, so friendly and helpful. We arrived well before check in time, but this was not a problem. We had a drink and some lunch from the pub menu which was really nice and great value. When our room was ready, we were told so and to call at the bar for the key when we were ready. A lovely setting in a small quaint village. A bonus we check out today (Friday) as the village holds its weekly market on the Main Street which we shall visit after breakfast.”
