“I will not stay here again. I have to travel to KC every few months and wanted to try something new. Big mistake! Clerk never greeted us. Just asked for name and phone number. Clerk wore gloves that he was doing something in, and asked for my ID , he didn’t even take the gloves off. Yikes. Then he never said please or thank you. Very rude. We went to dinner and when we got back the room smelled like smoke. So I had the clerk come and smell the room. He said he couldn’t smell it and that the room...

“Water temperature has two settings, scalding hot and off. Hard to get a bar of soap. Two pancake pillows for a queen size bed and unable to get any more. Broken vending machine. Kitchenette in the room but not pots, pans, glasses, or dishes. No ice machines and no ice cube trays. No "do not disturb" sign for the door. Would not stay here again.”

“It is what you pay for. However, we requested on Thursday that we needed to stay until Monday. He told us to just come down Saturday and add more days. However when we did that we were told our room was already taken and had to move to another room which was not a double, it was one king and we had to pay the additional. Poor customer service we tried to reserve and pay early and then what we were told was not honored. Most likely will not stay here again because of this.”

“Hilton staff is the best! From the front desk greeting and check in to the cleaning crew everyone is friendly and helpful. We always stay at the Garden Hilton when we travel to Kansas City. ”
