“The property was ok but some of the staff were clueless when ordering food and drinks. Ordered a steak received barbecue ribs......really!!!! Many occasions my wife Ordered a drink to get something completely different. Really nice people but need some serious training.”

“I was incredibly impressed with this hotel. The value for money was excellent. I booked a family room for five of us (3 kids) - which in itself is unusual to be able to fit 5 in one room! - when we were visiting Paulton Park. I didn’t do much research and we were all very pleasantly surprised with how good it was.. the family friendly welcome, facilities, and amenities were great. So lovely to give the kids a goody bag on arrival. Easter egg hunt such a great touch, the bouncy castle was a huge...

“The room was immaculate upon our arrival and the breakfast was a typical normal continental breakfast. The view was exceptional and the location for our cruise terminal was superb. All in all - it was a wonderful place to stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer or arrived earlier to investigate the area.”

“This is a 15th Century building with the stable block converted into accommodation. The room we occupied was very large with all the usual amenities, pristine clean with a huge comfortable bed. The breakfast menu was comprehensive as was the dinner menu. My only suggestion is that a help yourself coffee and tea facility would enhance its facilities.Excellent hotel at the price.”

“Lovely stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained throughout our visit. The back lawn/outdoor area was absolutely lovely and very relaxing, with a great atmosphere. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful despite it being an extremely busy bank holiday weekend. The food was really good throughout our stay and the bar area was a great place to unwind in the evening. Would certainly return.”

“We had a two night stay for my husbands 50th birthday and had a great time. The staff were all extremely polite and friendly. The hotel was very clean and beautifully presented. Excellent breakfast and fantastic location with plenty of parking. We will definitely be going back.”

“Lovely little place with nice ambience in a nice location. The breakfast and choices included in the price was great. My only one suggestion is re the sofa bed - matress is really not comfortable and too thin. Maybe at the very least a mattress topper could be used if the whole mattress cant be changed.”
