“Restaurant closes pretty early 8 o clock- and few choices available even 15-20 minutes before closing time. But overall ok”

“Fabulous hotel with wonderful William Morris wallpaper and tasteful decor. Our room– room 2, was enormous, with a gigantic, very comfy bed, a wonderful view across the valley, including the railway, and a large victorian style bathroom with a standalone bath with shower over. An excellent breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.”

“Food was wonderful. Room was very clean, with a lovely tray of tea, coffee and biscuits. They have an information pack in the room that gives all relevant information. They have information available for walks in the local area. It is in the middle of nowhere, so use the restaurant if here for a night. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening.
