“We had a great time as usual! The wind didn't stop us but it sure made it tough navigating the Mississippi and nearby lakes. The fishing was great with lots of sunfish, walleyes and SMALLMOUTH BASS! The cabin couldn't have been better. Late night card playing and tipping a few nightcaps in comfort was just what these two "Old Guys" needed. Thanks and see ya next year!”

“Peaceful, pretty, tasteful combination of cabin in nature. The owners have done an excellent job of providing a stay mindful of quality, comfort, fun and necessity while respecting the true cabin experience and natural landscape of the property. There’s room to explore, roam a bit and relax with a private dock and ample yard space with enough tree coverage to feel private from neighbors who aren’t too close at all. Our pup loved the yard and pointed out all the wildlife he could find before...

“Great place to stay for our hunt up in Hill City! Very clean, affordable, great amenities, fully staffed kitchen, bath, shower and tv in all rooms! Had a great fire outside at the fire pit and plenty of parking. Comfy beds, plenty of seating everywhere! Will definitely choose this home again and in summer also!”

“The cabin is beautiful. Welcoming, cozy, and more than well equipped for a comfortable break from the busy home life. Extras like a dishwasher, washer and dryer, and on the nights a fire in the wonderful fire pit area were not an option we used the wifi for streaming movies on the SmartTV. All nice bonuses. We enjoyed our stay and won't hesitate to come back.”

“House was very clean and we were welcomed with a super cute Welcome Basket. We basically stayed inside all weekend, as it was rainy all day and night. Plenty of seating at the table and in the livingroom. Kitchen was very cute and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy as well. Great place, would stay again and recommend to others! Thanks for having us!”

“We loved the house. Small and comfortable, very clean, and nice beds. While the pontoon looks well used, it was equipped, reliable and fun, and a pontoon is an amenity that is rare, We caught many sunfish every afternoon right around the corner from the house. The owners were good at communicating, available and documented the rules and processes of the house very well. We had a great time and would rent there again, thanks to the owners for hosting us.”
