Nestled in a prime location, this hotel is a stone’s throw away from an array of superb dining options. The area around the hotel is pleasantly walkable, allowing us to explore the vibrant surroundings at our leisure. As for the hotel itself, it maintained impeccable cleanliness throughout our stay, adding to the overall comfort and pleasure of our visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Panama City with convenience and style

La Isabela Suites is beautiful but we ran into several problems with our unit. There was no water! phone and iPod didn’t work to communicate that issue with concierge. I have to say that Jose was the most accommodating person I have ever seen. He was so helpful, kind, and patient to relocate us to different hotel. Because of Jose I am leaving a nice review.

This place is spectacular. 2 separate bedrooms, 2 baths, and a full kitchen with a living room, not to mention a balcony overlooking the street and a beautiful shared courtyard along the side of the suite! And Jose was fantastic checking us in, giving us great suggestions for things to do in this historic district (Casco Viejo). This was our lodging for our last night in Panama, and it was truly the icing on the cake for a great vacation. Hopefully we make it back to Panama many more times, and if we do, we'll stay at La Isabela each time and for way more than one night.

Wonderful property. The main building is in the perfect location. Very close to excellent restaurants, the museums, and great shopping. So happy that I stayed in the Casco Viejo area. . .what a great experience. I was traveling alone and felt very safe in the area. My room was exceptional. Spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. Management was extremely accommodating when we ran into some challenges in checkin and with the air conditioning. The rooms were funky and idiosyncratic in a good way. I’d stay again.

We would definitely recommend La Isabela to anyone looking to stay in Casco Viejo. The attention to detail from the fellows at the desk was outstanding. They went over and above to help us out during our stay. The suite was lovely and quiet. Beds are quite comfortable as well.

The property was beautiful - with a really nice inner courtyard as well as a balcony facing the streets. There was a full kitchen and all the necessary utensils, etc. in our two bedroom suite. The two bathrooms were clean and large and all rooms were beautifully decorated. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and arranged a day tour for us. This is an excellent place to stay in Panama - we highly recommend it.

Our suite was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were beyond welcoming and helpful and the location was perfect for strolling around Casco Viejo with lots of dining and shopping options nearby. Highly reccomend!

La IsabelaSuites exceeded our expectations! It was huge, had a wonderful view, was beautifully decorated and so clean! The staff was excellent and very helpful. We would recommend staying here to anyone! We truly enjoyed our suite.

WONDERFUL OKD COTY HOTEL
The hotel is in the middle of old city, Panama, walking distance to many cafés and restaurants. Our two bedroom suite was gigantic, and in very good shape. My only warning to anybody with mobility issues is that there is no elevator but to me it was not an issue. I will give six stars if I could. Highly recommend without reservations.

This property has a few suites, situated in a multi floor building. The suites were clean and well furnished. It is in a very good location in Casco Viejo. The staff was very helpful during our stay with assisting with several requests because we got sick. :(

This is a beautiful property in the middle of the historic district of Panama 'Caso Antiguo' The suites are roomy and has a kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave! It has a beautiful courtyard that's shared and a private balcony as well. The front faces a bustling neighborhood and walkable to so many amazing restaurants. Even though it's in a busy area the bedrooms are so quiet and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend
Highly recommend this boutique hotel. The location was ideal - in a historic neighborhood right next to amazing coffee shops and restaurants. We walked everywhere and even stopped in here and there to drop off anything we purchased and cool off for a bit. The suite was spacious - the pictures don’t do it justice. Each room had an en suite bathroom with comfortable beds. The living room and kitchen were large. The AC worked really well. The four of us felt very comfortable. The service was spectacular. We arrived at 7 am and the hotel sent a driver to get us from the airport. They even allowed us to rest up and shower in another suite before our room was ready. Very communicative and attentive. All their recommendations for food/coffee was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay in Panama and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The communication with the property before we arrived was excellent. They sent a driver to pick us up for a fee and they delivered us to the cruise ship terminal. Both fees were well worth it. Gave us recommendations for restaurants and stores near by. There were two huge bedrooms with baths and the main room was very large with kitchen and coffee maker. We loved the place, people who worked there and highly recommend it!

Perfect Hotel
The hotel is in the perfect location. You are right in the middle of old town and able to walk to all the sights and great places to eat. The hotel is spotless and the staff are very helpful. Upon checking in I was provided with a map of old town, recommended places to eat, etc. It was wonderful having a coffee maker and milk provided each day in the room. This is not your typical sterile hotel but is full of old world charm and architecture which makes the stay extra special. The hotel manager Andres could not have been nicer and more helpful. Highly recommend this hotel as a wonderful place to stay!

Wonderful!!! The staff was incredibly helpful and the rooms were huge! Bed and sheets were very comfortable and the balconies really make for a relaxing experience. There are many local places to eat within 5 minutes. Easy to walk around and La Isabela was perfect for our family with kids. Will absolutely come back.

Just a few words to describe my stay: Incredible, Amazing, and Awesome!!! The hotel is magnificent! The perfect location, clean, spacious, perfectly appointed and just plain beautiful. No hotel no matter how incredible can be the best of the best without having the most kind, caring, and responsive staff and here they have found them! Andres and Ana assisted me with every single little detail, including my bucket list visit to the Panama Canal, and made my stay unforgettable. I cannot wait to visit again in December during Panama's summer. For me, there is no place to stay but La Isabela Suites! Thank you Andres and Ana! You two are amazing! Sundi

Loved it
My friends and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were perfect for our group (2 bedroom/2bath) and we loved the location. Andres and Anna were extremely helpful with scheduling rides/tours and informing us of all the best restaurants/bars/attractions within walking distance of the hotel. Andres even helped us order a pizza for delivery since we didn’t speak Spanish. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

This is the place to stay in Casco Viejo!
The property manager was very concerned that our stay at La Isabela Suites was what we expected. His attention to details was excellent. Our suite met our expectations and more. I highly recommend staying here while staying in the Casco Viejo neighborhood of Panama City.

Outdoor courtyard is amazing
Really great suite -- awesome outdoor courtyard for hanging outside, and a spacious and comfortable common area to eat, drink, and gather inside. The concierge was very helpful preparing us to explore, giving us great lunch and dinner recommendations, and arranging transportation to the airport. Only caveat: it's in a lively, noisy part of the old city and the party noise outside is sometimes quite loud.

La Isabela was a great place to stay while visiting Cisco Viejo aera of Panama, We were in a 2 bedroom suite that was very well appointed and the staff was most attentive. Does not have a pool which would have been nice after a hot afternoon exploring the aera and road in front was b bit busy and noisy but I think that would be the case with most accommodations in the area. Recommend dealing directly with hotel versus Expedia.We tried to contact Expedia for 2 days regarding an issue prior to check in and were unable to reach them. In the end called hotel directly and was immediately able to resolve issue.

Customer service was outstanding
We only stayed one night, in the satellite building, but really enjoyed it. The room was big and clean, the shower was good, and the balcony was great. The room has a refrigerator, so we enjoyed a beer on the balcony. Customer service was a 10 out of 10. Amy showed us our room and wouldn't leave until all our questions were answered. Andres walked us to the clinic to get our covid test and made sure we would get our results in time for our flight. At check out, he waited with us until our Uber came. We ate at 3 of the restaurants he recommended - all were good.

If you are looking for a relaxed place to spend some quality time in Panama City definitely give La Isabella Suites a try. Andres went out of his way to make us feel like royalty every minute of every day. He helped us with our tour evaluation and went the extra mile to keep up with our tours to make sure they went flawless. A definite five star stay for our 30th anniversary!!!

Andres, the manager, is super-helpful and will go out of his way to ensure you have a good time. The location In Casco Viejo is great and the rooms are very comfortable.

Stayed in an "Executive Suite in annex building." This was actually a beautiful full-size apartment in a historic building, fully-furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Perfectly central location in Panama Old Town, with a large balcony with great view. Excellent concierge service via a tablet device in the property. Only watch-out is if you are sensitive to noise: the central location, above 3 restaurants on a square is quite noisy also late at night, but this is likely to be the case for most properties in such a central location.
