“It not a good image when pulling into the gravel parking lot and it’s littered with trash. Lobby carpet, stairwell and hallway carpet was dirty. Staff leaves the laundry room door open all day so you can see a pile of dirty laundry almost reaching the ceiling (not kidding). The room carpet had a dirty feel with dust and crumbs in the edges of the walls. Beds were old and mattresses had a thin feel to them. Bathroom was clean and updated but the shower curtain rod was not anchored to the wall...

“I enjoyed my stay at this B&B. Its in a great location of Anchorage and close to the airport. They put out a bunch of snacks with a do it yourself breakfast as well. I would stay here again. ”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean. The shower was absolutely amazing! The location was convenient to the airport. The walls were thin and we could hear lots of people most of the night. The breakfast was just okay, not very stocked or maintained. Overall, we would stay here again if in the area.”

“The room smelt like urine and the cleaner used to clean up dog pee stains, at least I hope it was dog pee. The rooms over looked borders homes with piles of garbage. The bathroom had a barn door right next to the bed and you could see a person on the toilet from all of the beds. Terrible hotel, I have stayed in motel 6’s that were better, way overpriced not worth it.”

“Run down and patched up, bt adequate for a night. Beds clean and comfortable. No blackout curtains so I didn't get much sleep. Did not use breakfast, though it was available certain hours”

The front desk does offer laundry soap to buy but Walmart has it for only $1.17 a load when you go to the travel size section in Walmart. “I was exceptionally disappointed having paid $299USD for a room that looked like it was part of a horror film set. From blood splatter on the wall in the bathroom, two of three broken bathroom lights, black mold in the shower, busted blinds, squeaky beds and a horrid smell throughout. When I searched the day of my stay what the rate was, it showed $249CAD (almost half of what I was paying). The staff were of no help to remedy this situation or cancel our stay. “Staff was very helpful and friendly, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of flying. The room was clean. The only negative was the bathroom door didn't open or close properly and the water pressure in the shower was terrible. The breakfast that was offered was a hot breakfast and was good. It's a place we'd considered staying at again.”
